Our Center is a meeting place for volunteers and refugees. It takes place in a room at a refugee accommodation center on Heimeranplatz. The people living in the center have only recently arrived in Munich. They often have few connections and many questions about life in Munich. What is your role? • You warmly welcome people and listen attentively – like a good neighbor. • You help them find their way around, for example, using public transportation or finding clubs and associations. • You can offer activities you enjoy, or you can decide together what you\'d like to do: play cards, listen to music, or simply chat. What’s in for you? • Intercultural exchange • Practical integration • Small acts of kindness that can make a big difference You always work as part of a team. A volunteer coordinator will train, support, and guide you. And you\'ll receive free training.
